Dr. Umu-kulthum Al-maawy joined as the medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano in 2024. She earned her master's degree of public health in epidemiology from UNT College of Health and Public Service and her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York. She completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medical and Rehabilitation and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Al-maawy is an independent private practice physician.

Ieesha was named area human resources director in September 2023. She has served as the director of human resources at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital Richardson since October 2015 before taking on an additional role at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano. She has nine years of human resources managerial experience. Ieesha received a bachelor’s degree in speech communication with a minor in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she was inducted into the 2015 Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Ieesha is originally from Southern California and has always had a passion for customer service.

Moki is a proud Air Force veteran originally from Pearly City, Hawaii. He joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano in 2015. He completed his undergraduate degree at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas and attended graduate school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. Moki is a Certified Neuro Specialist and was Employee of The Year in 2021. Healthcare is his passion, and he believes that everyone can benefit from therapy. As the director of therapy operations, his focus is supporting his staff each day so that they can provide the best quality of care for their patients.

Catrina joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano in 2006 as controller and brings more than 17 years of healthcare management expertise and 21 years of accounting experience to Encompass Health. She has also taught continuing education classes for Collin County Community College for several years. An east Texas native, Catrina graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She received her master's degree in management from Amberton University.

Lyndsey joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Texarkana as a registered nurse in July 2017. She transferred to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano in July 2018. In February 2019, she was promoted to PRN nurse supervisor and was promoted again in July 2019 to wound care coordinator, employee health nurse and the program champion for our Joint Commission Disease-Specific Care Certification in Amputee Rehabilitation. In August 2023, she was named CNO and is still program champion. She obtained a master's degree in nursing with a focus on nursing administration in May 2021. Her nursing background/experience is in day surgery and medsurg/telemetry.

Thanh has served as the director of pharmacy at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano since 2006. She has been practicing as a clinical pharmacist for more than 10 years. Thanh joined the Encompass Health Plano team in 2004. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and attended the University Of Texas at Austin where she received a bachelor's degree in biology. In addition, Thanh received her doctorate degree in pharmacy from the University of Houston in 2001.

Ashley has been the director of quality and risk at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano since May 2024. Prior to this role, she was the director of quality/risk at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Alexandria and the quality/risk coordinator at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dallas. She brings more than two years of experience in quality/risk, two years in business operations and six years in healthcare operations. Ashley obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from the University of North Texas, and a master’s degree in business administration in healthcare administration from Texas A&M University.

Jeremy was named area facilities director in October 2023. He has served in his role as facilities management director at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson since January 2021 and also serves Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Plano. He is responsible for the plant operations management including all aspects of environment of care compliance planning, facility equipment maintenance/certification, building repairs, maintenance and environmental services. He is also responsible for scheduled drills, implemented emergency management plans and coordinated assistance and allocations for emergency preparedness with the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council. He is the designated safety/security officer charged with regulatory compliance with TJC, TDH, OSHA and FEMA. Jeremy has worked in the facility management and life safety field since 1999 with vast knowledge of building automation, fire and life safety and other facility management systems.

Darla joined Encompass Health Plano, formerly HealthSouth Plano in July 2015 and serves as the director of case management. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Illinois State University and relocated to Dallas shortly thereafter. She brings with her more than 24 years’ experience as a registered nurse serving in roles at the patient bedside and in leadership. She obtained her American Case Management Certification in 2015 and is a member of the American Case Management Association.
