Chief Executive Officer
Randall Joined Encompass Health in 2022 bringing more than 20 years of healthcare experience. He began his career with the United States Navy, serving as an ocean systems technician analyst and later as a military police officer. He started his healthcare career as a nurse and has since served in multiple roles, including most recently as regional CEO, overseeing post-acute care hospitals and outpatient clinics in Panama City, Gainesville and Pensacola regions. Randal completed his associate degree in nursing from Pensacola Junior College, his bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama, and his master’s degree in business administration from Liberty University.
Medical Director
Dr. Novack serves as the director of rehabilitation medicine at the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Savannah. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation having completed his residency at Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital in New York City in 1989. Additionally, he is a member of the medical staff at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.
Dr. Novack is an independent private practice physician.
Director of Case Management
Molly graduated with a master’s degree in social work from Florida State University. She is a certified trainer in dealing with patients with dementia behaviors. With over ten years of healthcare case management experience, Molly joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Savannah in 2017. She remains an active member in several community and national groups including the Coalition of Advocates for Georgia’s Elderly, Greater Savannah Coalition on Aging, Community Healthcare Connections, the NASW and the CSWA.
Chief Nursing Officer
Michele graduated from the University of St. Mary with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is currently obtaining her master's degree in nursing leadership from Western Governors University. She began her professional career as an ER/trauma nurse for both the civilian and military sector. She obtained dual board certifications as an ER & trauma nurse. During her nine-year tenure in emergency medicine as the chief nursing officer and trauma program manager for DHA, she successfully developed and implemented the first Level IV trauma center in the State of Georgia and across all military treatment facilities. Michele has been with Encompass Health since January 2024.
Business Development Director
Joni graduated with an associate’s degree in physical therapist assisting from South University in 2012. She began her professional career in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation with experience that spans over 12 years. She has been with Encompass Health since May 2018 and continues her passion to advocate for patients and their families as they navigate rehabilitation needs and support their goals to optimize recovery.
Director of Quality & Risk
Katherine graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in applied physiology and kinesiology from the University of Florida 2011. In 2015, she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida. She holds special certification in neuro-developmental treatment. She has been with Encompass Health since May 2017 as a physical therapist before transitioning into the role of director of quality and risk in February 2024.
Director of Therapy Operations
Susan graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995 with her degree in physical therapy. She attended the University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies in exercise science and worked as a student athletic trainer with the UGA Women’s Gymnastics team for 3 years. She began her professional career as a PT/manager in an inpatient rehab and acute care Hospital in Savannah in 1995. She served as a regional rehab director and divisional director of rehabilitation serving seniors from 2006 -2021. Susan is passionate for providing all patients with excellent interdisciplinary rehab services and supporting the patients & families’ therapy goals. Susan is very excited to join the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Savannah team to contribute to the patients’ journey to recover and regain their quality of life.
Human Resources Director
Brian joined the Encompass Health Rehabilitation of Savannah team in 2022 as the human resources director, bringing years of healthcare and human resources experience with him. He is a graduate of Florida A&M University where he earned a bachelor's degree in healthcare management.
Controller
Brandt joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Savannah in June 2024. Previously, he spent time at KPMG as an auditor, covering a wide variety of industries from logistics and transportation to professional sports teams. He began his career at Encompass Health as a staff accountant. Brandt earned his bachelor's degree in business administration in accounting from Southeast Missouri State University where he was a four-year member of the men's football team. He also obtained his master's degree in business administration from the University of West Florida. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Missouri.
Facilities Management Director
Tony joined Encompass Health in December 2023. He began his career as an HVAC before advancing into plant operations management at Memorial Hospital. He brings 35 years of experience in plant operations.
