COVID-19 survivor returns to Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital to thank his caregivers

In March of last year, Mark Twentyman experienced a collapsed lung and other complications from COVID-19, and he has spent more than a year recovering from the virus. When Mark first came to Encompass Health, he was immobile, but after weeks of rehabilitation he was able to walk out of the hospital with the support of a walker in June 2020.
Hospital Happenings
Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital had the honor of participating and fundraising for the 2023 American Heart Walk in Viera, Florida. The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premier event for raising funds to save lives from the country's No. 1 and No. 5 killers, which are heart disease and stroke. The Sea Pines team included 70 walkers, donors, and individuals who continue to support this mission each year and who helped our team raise $3,930, which was donated to the American Heart Association. We look forward to this event each and every year!
