South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital Celebrates Five Years of Service

South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of UMC and Encompass Health will celebrate five years of providing innovative rehabilitative care to the local community. The hospital first opened to patients in May 2019 as a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, located at 5406 Colgate Street.

Beth Elder has been appointed as chief executive officer of South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of UMC and Encompass Health. In her position as CEO, Elder oversees the day-to-day operations as well as patient care and quality at the 66-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, located at 5406 Colgate Street. She assumed the position earlier this year.
