At CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Encompass Health, we are committed to helping you regain independence after a life-changing illness or injury. Located in Hot Springs, we are a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.

Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.

Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits.

Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.

*The hospital provides access to independent physicians.

Hospital happenings

Last month, the Casey family celebrated “Pops” returning home after his 10-week battle with COVID-19. After a lengthy hospital stay, Douglas Casey, known affectionately as Pops, came to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Encompass Health, to relearn how to walk, eat and swallow through intensive therapy.

With over 20 years in healthcare, Lesalee Chilcote brings experience in leading teams to achieve operational excellence and superior outcomes.

With over 20 years in healthcare, Lesalee Chilcote brings experience in leading teams to achieve operational excellence and superior outcomes. Lesalee served as the director of pharmacy at Encompass Health in Hot Springs for five years prior to being promoted to the CEO position in November 2020. She earned her master’s degree in business administration from Louisiana State University-Shreveport in addition to her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Outside of work Lesalee enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, enjoying the beautiful Hot Springs outdoor life.

Dr. Clint Seymour is a family medicine doctor, undersea & hyperbaric medicine specialist and primary care doctor with subspecialties including preventative medicine. He has more than 21 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from University of South Carolina School of Medicine medical school in 2001 and completed a residency at Eastern VA Med School.

Taleda brings more than 13 years of experience in healthcare quality and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs Rehabilitation Hospital as the director of quality and risk management in 2022, she held positions in quality and regulatory compliance for various healthcare organizations. Most recently, she held the title of director of quality for CARTI Cancer Center, and held quality and regulatory compliance positions with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a passion for performance improvement and compliance. Taleda earned her bachelor’s degree in health sciences with emphasis in community health promotion from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and her master’s in healthcare law and policy from Maurice A. Dean School of Law, Hofstra University, in Hempstead New York.

She started with our hospital in 2017 and obtained her certification in case management in 2018. Her career here has branched from case management to patient assessment standards coordinator and currently the director of case management. She has obtained a master's degree in business administration and a master's degree in nursing to add to her vast knowledge of healthcare. She strives to help patients get back to enjoying their lives after discharge from the hospital.

Veronica serves as the Director of Business Development she has 15+ years experience in healthcare where she started as a language interpreter. She began her career with our hospital in 2015 as a rehabilitation nurse liaison before transitioning senior liaison then interim business development director. Her registered nursing career branches from clinic and acute care setting. She brings experience in specialties including cardiology, endocrinology, and orthopedic surgery. She strives to promote education to the community on the benefits of physical rehabilitation. She is involved with many area community organizations to promote the hospital throughout Central Arkansas.
