Chief Executive Officer
Brian joined the Encompass Health Sherwood team as chief executive officer in 2021.
Brian has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare leadership and joined the Encompass Health Sherwood team as chief executive officer in 2021. He graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a master’s in healthcare administration and his FACHE in 2021.
Dr. Collins attended the University of California obtaining a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1984. He later went to the University of Southern California Medical School and graduated in 1989 with a medical doctorate. In 1993 Dr. Collins completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Collins is an independent private practice physician.
Director of Pharmacy
Daniel has been with Encompass Health since 2018.
Daniel discovered his love of pharmacy after becoming a pharmacy technician in 2008 and has been with Encompass Health since 2018. He graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2015 with his Doctor of Pharmacy.
Director of Case Management
Sharon Cathey has served as the director of case management at our hospital since 2017.
Sharon has served as the director of case management at our hospital since 2017. She has been a registered nurse for more than 30 years and has been in case management for almost 20 years. Sharon has worked at Encompass Health for the last ten years, six of which were in the director role.
Director of Quality and Risk Management
Sherry has been a registered nurse for almost 40 years and worked in a variety of healthcare and nursing settings.
Sherry has been a registered nurse for almost 40 years and worked in a variety of healthcare and nursing settings. She has been working in quality for the last 18 years. Sherry previously worked at Encompass Health and rejoined the team in 2021.
Terri joined the Encompass Health Sherwood team in 2022. She has more than 20 years of accounting experience and six in healthcare. Terri graduated from Devry University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in accounting and financial management.
Director of Business Development
Kim joined Encompass Health in 2003 and has worked in several capacities throughout the hospital. She has been in the marketing department since 2009 and has been the business development director since 2018. She began her nursing career as a licensed practical nurse and obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing in 1995.
Director of Therapy Operations
Shonda joined the CHI St. Vincent Sherwood Rehabilitation Hospital team in 2022. She has been practicing as an occupational therapist for 30 years, working in a variety of post-acute care settings. Shonda graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy in 1993.
Associate Medical Director
Dr. Rainosek graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in biomedical engineering in 2002 before attending UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, followed by internal medicine residency at UAMS in Little Rock where he graduated in 2013 with a "resident of the year" award in 2013. After 5 years as a hospitalist for St. Vincent Infirmary, he and Dr. Sadiq started Hospital Medicine, PLLC: a private, inpatient, concierge practice to focus on providing quality medical care to Arkansans needing post-acute care. The end result essentially brings hospitalist training and experience to the acute rehabilitation hospital team to allow continued intensive management of medical issues while undergoing physical, occupational, and speech therapies to accelerate the path back to functional independence.
Dr. Rainosek is an independent private practice physician.
Director of Facilities Management
Kenny joined St. Vincent Sherwood Rehabilitation Hospital in 2022. After owning a construction business for 15 years, he joined UAMS where he worked for more than 20 years in maintenance and construction.
Human Resources Director
Alicia joined the St. Vincent Sherwood Rehabilitation Hospital team in 2022. She has been working in human resources for the past 15 years. Alice graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a human resources emphasis.
