At CHI St. Vincent Sherwood Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Encompass Health, we are committed to helping you regain independence after a life-changing illness or injury. Located in Sherwood and serving the greater Little Rock area and central Arkansas, we are an inpatient rehabilitation hospital that provides inpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology for stroke, Parkinson’s disease and other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Using clinical collaboration and advanced technologies, we provide a personalized care plan designed to meet your unique needs and help you achieve your goals.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital uses an interdisciplinary team approach that includes physical, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, dietitians and more, combined with our advanced technology and expertise, to help you achieve your goals. You will receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week while under the constant care of registered nurses, many of whom specialize in rehabilitation, and frequent independent private practice physician* visits.
Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.

Dr. Collins attended the University of California obtaining a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1984. He later went to the University of Southern California Medical School and graduated in 1989 with a medical doctorate. In 1993 Dr. Collins completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Collins is an independent private practice physician.
Director of Case Management
Sharon serves as the director of case management at CHI St. Vincent Rehabilitation Hospital. She has been a registered nurse for 29 years and has experience in the areas of medical surgery, cardiac and orthopedic nursing. Sharon is a certified case manager with 11 years’ experience in acute care and rehabilitation.
Regional Director of Pharmacy
Alisa Chamblee serves as the director of pharmacy at St Vincent Rehabilitation Hospital. She has more than 25 years of experience as a pharmacist, receiving her BS in pharmacy from the Medical College of Virginia and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Shenandoah University. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist as well as an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Brenda joined Encompass Health as hospital controller in 2009 and joined the leadership team at Encompass Health The Woodlands and Vision Park in March 2019. Brenda has more than 17 years of healthcare financial management experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, home health and acute care hospitals in for-profit and not-for-profit settings. She obtained her bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Director of Business Development
Kim has been a nurse for 23 years. She began her career with our hospital in 2001 where she has had many roles that include PPS coordinator, Case Manager, Unit Administrator of Doctor’s Unit and most recently senior liaison for 6 years. She is currently the interim Director of Business Development. Kim is a member of the Sherwood Chamber of Commerce.
Associate Medical Director
Dr. Rainosek graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in biomedical engineering in 2002 before attending UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, followed by internal medicine residency at UAMS in Little Rock where he graduated in 2013 with a "resident of the year" award in 2013. After 5 years as a hospitalist for St. Vincent Infirmary, he and Dr. Sadiq started Hospital Medicine, PLLC: a private, inpatient, concierge practice to focus on providing quality medical care to Arkansans needing post-acute care. The end result essentially brings hospitalist training and experience to the acute rehabilitation hospital team to allow continued intensive management of medical issues while undergoing physical, occupational, and speech therapies to accelerate the path back to functional independence.
Dr. Rainosek is an independent private practice physician.
Therapy Operations Director
Stacy began her career with our hospital in 2001 as a speech language pathologist. In 2011, she became the director of therapy operations. Stacy received a master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Central Arkansas. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the Arkansas Hospital Association.

Brenda has been in healthcare for more than 20 years working for both profit and non-profit facilities.
Brenda has been in healthcare for more than 20 years working for both profit and non-profit facilities: Arkansas Children’s Hospital, University of Maryland Medical Center and CommonSpirit Health. She has brought great contributions in her previous roles as a senior recruiter, senior human resources business partner and division manager. Brenda received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), and her master’s degree in organizational management with a concentration in human resources management from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. Brenda is passionate about coaching and empowering underserved communities.
