Chief Executive Officer
Beth joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls in March 2023, coming to the CEO role with more than 30 years in healthcare and 20 years in various leadership positions. Her most recent role was vice president of rehabilitation services for 100+ long term acute care hospitals within a large national healthcare company. Beth holds a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University and an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management from Regis University.
Medical Director
Dr. Carol Sonatore, a board-certified physician specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, serves as medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls as of October 2020. After graduating New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997, she completed her internship at Long Beach Medical Center in New York. Thereafter, Dr. Sonatore completed residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation followed by fellowship in cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Sonatore’s leadership roles included medical director of the acute rehabilitation unit and chair of the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Princeton Medical Center. She subsequently served as the medical director of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Toms River from August 2012 through December 2017. After working as a medical director for Horizon NJ Health from January 2018 until October 2020, Dr. Sonatore re-joined the Encompass Health family at Tinton Falls.
Dr. Sonatore is an independent private practice physician.
Chief Nursing Officer
Maria has spent her entire career in the acute care rehabilitation industry. Maria has been a nurse for 30 years, and spent 25 years being in a nursing leadership role. Additionally, Maria has extensive experience with traumatic brain injury patients as she was a staff nurse for five years on a brain trauma unit. She graduated from Seton Hall University with her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing.
Human Resources Director
Ursula joins Encompass Health as the human resource director bringing more than 15 years of progressive HR experience in the healthcare industry. Her areas of expertise include employee engagement, employee relations and change management. Ursula has a passion for collaborating and developing an organizational culture that fosters teamwork. She is a graduate of Kean University holding a bachelor's degree of business administration with a concentration in management. Ursula is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and is active within her community.
Controller
Director of Case Management
Bridget leads the Encompass Health Tinton Falls case management department. She joined the team in March 2022 with 15 years of experience in acute care discharge planning and case management. Throughout her career she has held several clinical and management positions, most recently serving as the administrative director of case management at a major non-profit teaching hospital in northern New Jersey. Among other achievements, she oversaw their BPCI-A program, and successfully implemented the Hospital to Home program during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bridget graduated from New York University with a bachelor's degree in nursing in 1998 and earned a bachelor's degree at Manhattan College in 1995. She received her executive MPA in 2012, and currently holds both an active RN license and CCM certification.
Director of Quality & Risk
Lynne joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls in January 2023. She brings more than 35 years of experience in acute care nursing, healthcare quality, safety and risk management to her role as director of quality and risk. Prior to joining Encompass Health of Tinton Falls, Lynne most recently served as the director of enterprise risk management at a major non-profit hospital network in New Jersey. Lynne earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Seton Hall University and an Ed.M. degree from Columbia University in New York. She also holds an MBA and DNP from Monmouth University.
Facilities Management Director
Keith joined Encompass Health Tinton Falls in the spring of 2017 with more than 20 years of experience in project management and safety compliance in healthcare. He began his career in long term care working as a supervisor of housekeeping while in college. During this time, Keith continually grew in his role as he furthered his education and worked his way up to a director position. His healthcare experience includes skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living. Keith obtained his bachelor’s degree in business management from New Jersey City State University.
Director of Pharmacy
Reeya oversees the inpatient pharmacy services at Encompass Health Tinton Falls. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, and started her career with the Encompass Health network as a pharmacy intern in Virginia in 2007. In 2009, she joined the team at Encompass Health Tinton Falls. She takes pride in the extensive pharmacy involvement with patients, physicians and nurses in an acute rehabilitation setting. In addition, she is committed to improve medication management , increase awareness of appropriate use of antimicrobials and promote safe use of medications.
Director of Therapy Operations
Anthony joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls as the director of therapy operations in May 2023. He brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience in inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, acute care teaching hospitals and private practice. As a licensed physical therapist, Anthony is passionate about facilitating excellent patient experiences and outcomes. Tony earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and health science and his master’s degree in physical therapy from Long Island University.
