When you choose Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital for your rehabilitation, you receive compassionate care from an expert team of physical, occupational and speech therapists; physicians; nurses; dietitians; pharmacists and case managers. They will work together to create a plan to help you meet your unique goals.

At our hospital you will receive:

  • 24/7 nursing care, including nurses who specialize in rehabilitation
  • Frequent visits from a physician*

Community Health Needs Assessment

Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital is a joint venture between Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Encompass Health, one of the nation’s leading rehabilitation services provider.

Section 501(r)(3) under the Affordable Care Act requires a hospital organization to conduct a (CHNA) every three years and to adopt an implementation strategy (IS) to meet the community health needs identified through the CHNA. The most recent CHNA/IS, which covered Bedford, Coffee, Davidson, Rutherford, Williamson, and Wilson Counties, was adopted by the VUMC Board of Directors in June 2025. The CHNA/IS covers the licensed hospital facilities of Vanderbilt University Hospitals and Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital.
