Encompass Health submitted a determination of need application to add 17 beds at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Western Massachusetts. Encompass Health will host a virtual, public meeting to discuss the need for the project on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Encompass Health Corporation (the “Applicant”), with a principal place of business at 9001 Liberty Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35242, intends to file a Notice of Determination of Need (“Application”) with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health with respect to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Western Massachusetts located at 222 State Street, Ludlow, MA 01056 (“Hospital”).
