Jody serves as the chief executive officer for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls since August 2022. He began his career with Encompass Health in 2015 as the chief nursing officer. With more than 15 years of healthcare experience, he also has over a decade of experience in leadership. A Wichita Falls native, he graduated from Midwestern State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Jody then obtained his master’s degree of business administration from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining Encompass Health, he served in various roles in the acute care setting.

Dr. Patel received his medical degree in 1982 in India. He moved to the United States and completed a residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College in 1995. Dr. Patel has been affiliated with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls since 1999 and served as an attending physician for more than 10 years.

Dr. Patel is an independent private practice physician.

Lauren is the director of quality/risk management and has been employed by Encompass Health Rehabilitation of Wichita Falls since 2007. She began her Encompass Health career as an LVN, later became an RN and then served as the nurse manager from 2014 to 2017. She transferred to the role of director of case management from 2017 until 2018. A native of Wichita Falls, Lauren brings great diversity to the team with her broad knowledge of the hospital and her focus on patient-centered outcomes. She is a strong patient advocate, constantly looking for ways to ensure our patients receive a high-quality experience.

Christi began her career with Encompass Health in August 2018 as a certified director of case management. Prior to joining Encompass Health Wichita Falls, she served in various healthcare roles including, chief operating officer, director of case management, and as a nurse in mother-baby and emergency room. She brings more than 26 years of healthcare experience and has clinical and leadership healthcare background. Christi received his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Texas, Arlington and earned her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. Christi’s passion is case management. She strives to ensure there is effective communication and the facilitation of care along a continuum through effective resource coordination. Her goal for the patient is the achievement of optimal health, and access to care after discharge.

Judy joined the Encompass Health team in September 2024. As the chief nursing officer, she is passionate about serving our patients while also focusing on developing a team that is prepared to provide exceptional care to those patients. She has more than 25 years of nursing experience and is a graduate of Vernon College and Western Governors University. Judy focuses on implementation of patient- centered care, evidence-based standards of patient care and performance improvement. She enjoys the outdoors, watching football and crafting.

LeAndra was named director of pharmacy of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls in October of 2020, after serving as a staff pharmacist since early 2018. Her diverse healthcare experience includes extensive roles in hospital and community retail pharmacy. LeAndra received a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. While overseeing all functions at the hospital’s pharmacy to ensure the safe, effective and accurate use of medications for our patients, she is committed to a team-approach focused on improving patient’s lives.

Paul joined the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls team in 2016. He has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Paul earned a bachelor’s degree from West Texas State University and is a Wichita Falls native.

Cassie began her career with Encompass Health in September 2011. She graduated from Butler University with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders then obtained her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois before relocating to Wichita Falls, Texas. Cassie has worked as a speech pathologist, therapy team leader and therapy manager prior to becoming the directory of therapy operations in 2019, for which she oversees the wonderfully skilled therapy department. With a focus on ensuring all patients receive functional, meaningful therapy during their stay, her goal is that all patients are fully prepared to return to the home and community setting.

Luis has served as the associate administrator for Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls since July 2024. He has worked in healthcare for 20 years and has been in leadership roles for more than a decade. In addition to his experience in the inpatient rehabilitation setting, Luis has also worked in acute care and behavioral hospitals. A Southern California native, he graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor's degree in Spanish literature and obtained his master's degree in business administration from the University of La Verne.

Kathleen joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls in 1992 and has worked in human resources for over 30 years. Originally from Canada, Kathleen migrated to Texas in 1991.

Britany began her career with Encompass Health in July 2017 as a marketing liaison and was quickly promoted to business development director. She graduated from Midwestern State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work and spent six years at United Regional Healthcare System specializing in patient and family care. Prior to joining Encompass Health Wichita Falls, she served in a director of business development role and has a passion for sales and marketing. Britany is a native of Wichita Falls and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son.

Mary has worked for Encompass Health for over 25 years and has over 30 years of healthcare finance experience. She began her career as the business office manager at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wichita Falls in 1998 and then moved into the role of senior IT application support specialist with Encompass Health’s home office. She was promoted to controller in 2015 at Encompass Health Wichita Falls and brings with her extensive accounting as well as IT experience.
