Leadership Columbia, a Columbia Chamber program, presented by BlueCross® BlueShield® of South Carolina, for emerging and existing leaders in the Midlands, is pleased to announce the Leadership Columbia Class of 2024. The 63 individuals will be the 51st graduating class since the program was founded in 1972.

“The Chamber is excited to welcome a new class of professionals to our Leadership Columbia program,” says Columbia Chamber President and CEO, Carl Blackstone. “With over 2,200 members in the alumni network, our next class joins an elite group of leaders,” continued Blackstone.

This group will engage in a 10-month curriculum including monthly class day sessions, a retreat, a class project, and a variety of enrichment activities around the area.

“I am very honored to have been selected to be a part of the Leadership Columbia Class of 2024.  By participating in this program, I hope to gain knowledge about the city of Columbia and the many attributes that make it a great place to work and live. In addition, I hope to make both long standing personal and professional relationships with top notch leaders in the city that are making a difference in their organizations and in their communities.  I have had the pleasure of participating in programs like this in other cities where I’ve lived, and I still maintain great friendships that have lasted even after relocating to other states!  What I know is “we” will be the Best Class Ever for Leadership Columbia!”
