BOISE, Idaho, Oct. 13, 2023- John “Joe” Griffin has been appointed as chief executive officer of Saint Alphonsus Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of Encompass Health. In his position as CEO, Griffin oversees the day-to-day operations as well as patient care and quality at the 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, located at 711 North Curtis Road. He assumed the position in September.

Griffin brings nearly 20 years of experience to his new role as CEO. Prior to accepting the position of CEO, he served as chief financial officer at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock in Texas. Griffin has also served as a management consultant at The Healthcare Store from 2006-2013, where he provided financial and business development expertise to the company’s leadership team.

Griffin earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas.
