Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. Our institute has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies, as needed.

Medical Director
Dr. Park is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Park is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his residency at Harvard Medical School’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Park is dedicated to helping patients maximize recovery after an illness or injury and to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Park is an independent private practice physician.
Controller
Lavern is a financial and business professional with more than 30 years of diverse experience in controller, financial management and operations roles. He has worked in the healthcare industry for seven years. Lavern has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Augustana College, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa and is a certified public accountant.
Business Development Director
Alison Beardsley brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership to The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute. Her experience includes financial analysis, strategic planning and operational leadership. She most recently served as the director of oncology for UnityPoint Health Trinity. A Quad Cities native, Alison graduated from The University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in social work and subsequently a master’s degree in health administration.
Director of Case Management
Jessica brings more than 15 years of case management experience in rehabilitation to The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute, mostly recently working for UnityPoint Health Trinity. She received both her bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in social work from West Virginia University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Director of Therapy
Ryan brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute. He served as the outpatient lead therapist and most recently as the inpatient therapy manager for UnityPoint Health Trinity. He began his career as a staff physical therapist at UnityPoint Health Trinity. A Quad Cities native, he graduated from Clarke University with a master’s degree in physical therapy and received a Doctor of Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University.
Director of Pharmacy
Greg received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
Greg received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Prior to starting at The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute, he worked for several years at UnityPoint Health Trinity as a clinical pharmacist, predominantly working in acute/critical care. As he previously worked in the community setting prior to his time in acute care, he has a broad pharmacy skillset well suited to optimizing patient outcomes in the inpatient rehabilitation setting in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team.
Human Resources Director
Aaron has 17 years of diverse human resources experience, with 10 of those in the healthcare industry. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Augustana College and a master’s degree in human resources management from Marquette University. He has maintained his professional in human resources certificate since 2010.
Chief Nursing Officer
Alyssa is from the rural Quad Cities area. She graduated from Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences with an associate degree in nursing and obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Governors University. After several years of diverse nursing practice, she obtained a master’s degree in science of nursing with a specialty in leadership and management from Western Governors University.
Director of Quality & Risk
Katherine brings more than 20 years of healthcare expertise to The Quad Cities Rehabilitation Institute. A Quad Cities native, she began her career as a radiologic technologist. After finding her passion in healthcare leadership, project management and performance improvement, she returned to school and obtained her master’s degree in health administration from Ashford University.
