Mrs. Campbell was admitted to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga after suffering a stroke that affected the right side of her body. The stroke left her unable to use her right hand or walk without maximal assistance. After 16 days at our hospital, Mrs. Campbell could walk 160 feet with no assistance and pick up small items with her right hand. She rang the bell on her last day of therapy to celebrate all she had accomplished. Mrs. Campbell was happy to return home with her husband and is excited to back to shopping at the mall.
