Hospital happenings

Earlier this month, Encompass Health Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital partnered with South Western Indiana Council on Aging at a drive-thru Spring Health & Nutrition Lunch & Vendor Fair.

Seniors were able to pick up a free and healthy lunch while they made stops along the way at vendor tables in the parking lot. Encompass Health provided educational goodie bags filled with stroke resources and a mask for each participant. A participant, Marc, appreciated the mask given by Marketing Liaison Maria Evans so much that he put it on immediately. We embrace our community partnerships to serve and provide resources and education to our local seniors.
