Hospital happenings

Amber and her husband were burned from a gas explosion in their food truck. Her burn injuries and skin grafts made walking extremely painful and difficult. She was unable to stretch her ankles to walk properly. After two weeks of therapy with us, Amber is finally heading home to her family. Her positive attitude and determination helped her complete the therapy she received at Encompass Health East Valley.

Amber is grateful for the continuing education she received before discharge about caring for her burns and how to prevent further injuries from the intense Arizona sun as she continues on her road to recovery.
