Hospital Happenings

At 19 years old, Isaiah is not the typical age of someone you see at a rehabilitation hospital. Catapulted from his bike, Isaiah ended up with a broken vertebra, dislocated a part of his hip, fractured his femur, lacerated his kidney, and ended up with severe road rash. Being an independent person his entire life, this accident completely stripped him of that quality he valued most.

At Encompass Health Fairlawn, Isaiah said his biggest accomplishment was how far he progressed in such a short time frame. Since his accident, Isaiah has shown unwavering determination, resilience, and perseverance that resulted in remarkable progress and significant strides in his physical therapy.

Now that he's back home, Isaiah serves as an inspiring example of how determination coupled with the guidance of skilled healthcare professionals can lead to significant improvements in physical health. We applaud Isaiah for his remarkable achievements and look forward to witnessing his continued progress and well-being on the path to full recovery.
