From being born at Fairlawn to working here for 25 years, Rich Swett is very well known at our hospital. After a hospitalization for stomach-related issues, he was hoping that he would be able to go to Fairlawn for his rehabilitation. His hopes came true.
Rich was incredibly impressed with the amount of professionalism, knowledge, expertise and how much everyone at Fairlawn truly cared about him. He said it wasn’t just one group of people in particular that made him feel this way; it was everyone. His wife felt like all of his needs were met on every level, and she felt thoroughly included in his care.
“No one is afraid to help,” they both said in agreement. Rich got choked up detailing the care he received. His biggest takeaway was how the staff at Fairlawn weren’t treating him this way because he was well known—it was because they treat every single patient that way.
