Hospital Happenings

Bob

Bob came to Encompass Health Morgantown after suffering a stroke that affected his left side and made it difficult for him to walk, complete his activities of daily living and function in his career. Bob worked daily in physical and occupational therapy on land and in the water with aquatic therapy to regain movement, function and strength on his left side, while also coordinating both sides of his body to successfully complete tasks.

Initially, Bob had to use a walker and the assistance of two people to walk safely, but now, he is walking independently without a device! We are so proud of the hard work Bob put into his stay at Encompass Health, and are so excited to see his continued progress in the community.
