Krista brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to Encompass Health The Vintage. She has been with Encompass Health since 2012 as the CEO of Encompass Health The Woodlands and transitioned to Encompass Health The Vintage in 2015. During her career, Krista has taken on several progressive roles within the acute rehabilitation hospital setting encompassing all aspects of operations within the rehabilitation environment. She graduated from Moorhead State University in her native state of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in social work.

Dr. Benjamin Agana specializes in the management of rehabilitation services for patients at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. He helps individuals who have suffered from disabling conditions, such as stroke or orthopedic injuries, rebuild their lives. Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Agana also has a subspecialty board certification in pain medicine as well as electrodiagnostic medicine.

Dr. Agana is an independent private practice physician.

Amy serves as the chief nursing officer and has more than 25 years of nursing leadership experience. Before joining Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage, she served as the director of patient care at Houston Methodist and Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. Amy earned her master’s degree in business administration at Our Lady of the Lake University and a master’s degree in nursing at University of Phoenix. She is a member of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, Academy of Medical Surgical Nurse and is the President of AMSN Greater Houston. She is a certified medical surgical nurse and a certified nurse manager leader.

Pam joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, The Vintage in 2021 as the director of quality/risk. She has almost 30 years of healthcare experience as a nurse in various settings. Pam's professional background includes inpatient rehabilitation, quality, management, employee health, home health and LTAC. She is passionate about the rehabilitation of patients and the quality of care that they receive. Pam is a native of Texas, originally from Abilene. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with both a bachelor's and master's degree in nursing. She currently holds a professional certification in healthcare accreditation.

Howard brings 16 years of experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. As the safety officer, Howard is responsible for all aspects of the environment of care compliance and planning. He has contributed to the start up and management of several Encompass Health hospitals in Houston. He has been with Encompass Health since 2007 and has been with The Vintage since 2018.

Melanie brings six years of experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage as she transitioned to director of case management from certified case manager in Bryan, Texas. Melanie has more than 15 years of social work and case management experience in the healthcare industry. She is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and Hardin Simmons University. Melanie is from Michigan however Texas has been her home since the age of three.

Andrew serves as the director of therapy operations at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. Andrew joined Encompass Health in February 2020 as physical therapy team lead and then therapy manager before being promoted to director in February 2023. Andrew worked in the home health setting as a physical therapist prior to joining Encompass Health and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Kim brings more than 10 years of pharmacy experience including acute care, long-term care and rehabilitation services to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. She earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy from South University and her master's degree in business from University of Houston Clear Lake.

Helen brings more than five years of healthcare experience to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. Helen joined Encompass Health in 2019. She is a Houston native and graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Helen received a master’s degree in public administration from University of Phoenix.

Miguel is the human resources director at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage. Miguel began his healthcare career in Houston and brings more than five years of experience to the hospital. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. He then earned his master’s degree in business administration and healthcare administration from the University of Houston Clearlake. He joined the Encompass Health The Vintage team in 2022 and is responsible for the planning, directing and managing of human resources initiatives for the hospital.

Jason joined Encompass Health in July of 2010 as controller at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Woodlands and transferred to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital The Vintage in November 2015 after Encompass Health purchased Reliant Rehab Partners. He comes to Encompass Health with a bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and more than 19 years of accounting experience. Jason's knowledge base is wide, ranging from retail accounting to pharmaceutical financial management to managing a team of accountants and financial analysts for a healthcare company. His broad knowledge base, excellent education and analytical perspective have made him an asset to the team.
