Josette is an area CEO covering parts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York as CEO in 2023, previously serving as CEO at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospitals of Toms River and Mechanicsburg. Prior to joining Encompass Health, she was the vice president of marketing, community relations and development at Memorial Hospital in York, Pennsylvania where she worked in the areas of customer experience, physician relations, community health and wellness, strategic planning and marketing and development. Josette has worked in the healthcare management field for more than 25 years. She was also an adjunct professor at York College and has served on numerous community boards including United Way, American Heart Association and the Memorial Health Fund. She is currently serving as the vice chair of the UPMC Memorial Community Board of Directors. Josette has a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and a master's degree from Temple University.

Brett joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg in February 2021 as a rehabilitation liaison. He has gained valuable case management experience in the acute hospital setting and transitioned to the director of case management role at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of York in October 2023. Brett received his bachelor's degree in nursing from York College of Pennsylvania.

Katy joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York in May 2023. Katy earned her bachelor’s degree in gerontology from California University of Pennsylvania in 2013. Since receiving her degree she has developed her career in healthcare. Katy has worked as a CNA, med tech, memory care director and human resources specialist. Katy’s focus is on creating not only a positive work environment for the staff at Encompass, but also ensuring positive experiences for patients as well.

Jared joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York in August 2021. A York native, Jared graduated from Penn State University in 1997. After a 20-year career in media sales and marketing, Jared transitioned to the healthcare field in 2019.

Rob joined Encompass Health, in 2003. He transferred from Tennessee to Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Reading in 2012, where he served as the therapy manager. Then in 2019, Rob joined Encompass Health in York as the Director of Therapy Operations. Rob received his bachelor’s degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in business administration and a doctorate of physical therapy from Belmont University.

Tanya joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York in August 2021. A York County native, she started her career in healthcare in the mid-90s as a certified nursing assistant. Her most recent degree is a master’s degree in nursing leadership and management and is currently completing a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Tanya also holds a Black Belt in Lean Sigma Six, Board Certification as a Nurse Executive and CCM certification in Case Management.

Matt oversees the inpatient pharmacy services at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy in 2016 from the Mylan School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania. In 2021, he joined the team at Encompass Health York, bringing 15 years of pharmacy and leadership experience. He takes pride in the extensive pharmacy involvement with patients, physicians and nurses in an acute rehabilitation setting. In addition, he is committed to improving medication management, increasing awareness of appropriate use of antimicrobials and promoting safe use of medications.

Joe is a certified healthcare safety professional with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and facility management. He is excited to be back at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York where he started his career in facility management. He is looking forward to sharing his experience and best practices to ensure a safe environment of care for all patients, staff and visitors at Encompass Health of York. When he is not working Joe enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, biking and various sports activities.

Lesley joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York in 2012. After five years of serving as the nurse manager, she took on the role of chief nursing officer. Lesley earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Capella University and is a certified rehabilitation registered nurse. Lesley serves as a preceptor for nursing leaders at Encompass Health in the Northeast region. Lesley is dedicated to providing a positive patient experience and enhancing programs that contribute to advanced patient outcomes.
