Nov. 4, 2024 - Natalie Ryder has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tallahassee. The hospital is a 70-bed, inpatient rehabilitation hospital located at 1675 Riggins Rd. in Tallahassee, Florida.
Ryder joins Encompass Health with more than 11 years of healthcare experience and nine years of service in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers as a lieutenant. She previously was employed by Ascension Borgess Hospital System as the regional vice president of nursing for the Southwest Michigan area. In this role, Ryder was responsible for the overall management of nursing services regarding clinical practice, education, professional development and administration of direct patient care.
“Natalie has a proven track record of success in recruitment and retention, patient safety and quality, and operations management,” said Ronnie Wagley, president of Encompass Health’s South Atlantic region. “I know we will continue providing high-level, compassionate care for the Tallahassee area under her leadership.”
Ryder holds a master’s degree in business administration from Western Governors University and a master’s degree in nursing from Robert Morris University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is Lean Six Sigma White Belt certified by the Six Sigma Global Institute. Ryder is also a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and American Nurses Association.
