Communication channels

Email

Most employee notifications are sent to your Company email account. It is expected that you regularly access your email to complete mandatory trainings, annual benefits enrollment, and other actions related to your employment with the Company.

Messenger

Messenger is an e-newsletter that details important things to know each week, including hospital activities, employee spotlights, patient success stories and informative updates.

Hive

The Hive is Encompass Health’s employee mobile app. This innovative communication tool helps employees stay connected to buzz-worthy Company and hospital information through the real-time newsfeed. Access to your personal PTO balance, paycheck information, benefits elections, benefits customer service hotlines and other helpful information is just a tap away-all in the palm of your hand.

Encompass Health 360

Encompass Health’s intranet site, Encompass Health 360, offers access to companywide information, as well as quick links to various departmental sites, policies, IT support and more. Hospitals have homepages on Encompass Health 360 as well.

Connect with Encompass Health

The Connect blog showcases how we set the standard in post-acute innovation every day. From patient success stories to clinical expertise provided by our thought leaders, there's something for everyone. You can spread the word by sharing these stories with family and friends, patients, caregivers, colleagues, referral sources and partners in acute care.

Town Hall meetings

Held quarterly, Town Hall meetings inform employees of Company strategies, recent financial performance, quality metrics and other timely topics. These meetings are led by Encompass Health President and CEO Mark Tarr, and all employees have the opportunity to submit questions to contribute to the content.

Employee referral program

Encompass Health invites all new employees to participate in the employee referral program, Rolepoint, to help find reliable, passionate candidates to achieve superior patient outcomes and success. After an employee creates an account in Rolepoint, the online portal provides access to search open positions and easily make referrals using email or social media. Employees can earn Step Up To Excellence points as well as cash bonuses for referring employees who are hired and complete a 90-day probationary period.

You will receive an email with instructions to activate your account during your first week of employment. For questions, contact your hospital’s human resources director.

Employee engagement survey

Engaged employees are passionate, proud and committed to working for the organization, and we know that your employment is based on more than salary and benefits. We strive to be an employer of choice and provide a positive workplace for employees to be successful. A survey is conducted every year to get input from employees as an instrument for positive change. Results from the survey are used by hospitals and the Home Office to create action plans that build on our strengths and improve our weaker areas. Every employee has a voice to build a better work environment.
